Alec's POV
Magnus and I had been kissing slowly (passionately) for about 15 minutes now. Clothes still on, I decided to rest for a few moments and lay my head on Magnus' hard, lean chest. The fast-paced rhythm of his heart almost matched mine perfectly.
"Can I ask you something?" I said abruptly, once I had slowed my breathing.
"Mmm, anything, Love." I knew Magnus well enough to conclude that he was smiling slightly with his eyes closed as he traced incoherent patterns on the curve of my spine.
"I was just thinking about my parents-" His eyes flashed open and gave me a blasphemous look.
"While we were kissing you were thinking about your parents?" He said incredulously. I acted as if he hadn't spoken.
"And was wondering why you never tell me about yours?" I finished, sitting up as he did but interlocking my fingers on his back to keep my arms around his waist.
"What else is there to know? They both hated me because they thought I was a demon. Who knew they'd be right?" The bitterness in his tone was so distinct it was almost tangible.
"But Magnus-"
"Oh don't try to play it down, Alec; I'm a warlock, it's in my blood."
"But Magnus," I started again. "What runs in your blood doesn't matter. Lightwood genes run in my blood, and you said yourself I'm not anything like the rest of my family. So I refuse to think there is anything remotely demonic or wrong about you," I finalized stubbornly.
Honestly I couldn't find one thing I didn't love about Magnus. Well, maybe the fact that he tried to change my wardrobe on a day-to-day basis...
He gave me a sad smile, then put a hand on either side of my face and pulled me into a kiss. He ended it quickly.
"Oh! That kiss reminded me that I wanted to take a shower today!" He mocked, playfully pushing the side of my head over so he could slide off his canary yellow sheets and into his master bathroom.
"Care to join?" Magnus called loudly as he turned the water on. I answered by entering the bathroom and removing my t-shirt. Magnus turned away from the shower head and smirked.
"What?" I asked, self-consciously looking down at my bare chest.
"Nothing, I'm just glad you're so comfortable around me." He smiled as he wrapped his arms around my slight waist. Iz and I both got our height and build from Mom.
"I really do love your eyes, Magnus." I blushed as the words came out in a crucial tone.
He pressed his lips to my forehead saying, "And I love yours. They're beautiful." Magnus kissed me again, this time lightly on the jugular.
"Not real-" He threw a firm hand over my mouth.
"Not this again. Honestly Alexander, what is so awful about how you look?" He was sitting on the vanity now, me pressed against his side, our fingers entwined.
"I'm really pale," I started.
"How about a better argument?" He sighed impatiently.
"I- have... two zits on my forehead," I finished lamely.
"No one sees it anyway."
"I'm- shorter than you?" It came across as a question.
"So is everybody!" Magnus threw his hands up (and the one of mine he was still holding) in exasperation. I noticed a blue spark travel up his index finger and sizzle out at the tip. "You would be a horrid lawyer, Alec. But fine, you know what? You're completely average looking."
I sighed. "You really think so?"
"No, I think you're absolutely gorgeous," he breathed, using the same finger that sparked to lift my chin upward. I leaned into his chest and buried my face in his neck.
"I guess I don't really like being called average anyway... Makes me feel like a mundie." I mumbled, defeated. Magnus really did always know what to say.
"Exactly," he whispered in my ear as he ran his fingers through the hair on the back of my head. "Water's getting cold," he pointed out after a minute or so. I groaned.
"Do we really have to take a shower now?"
"Alec, whatever dirty thoughts you're having, I'm sure we can proceed to them in the shower. We'll just be wet." I looked up at him. He was grinning my favorite crooked smile that lit up his whole face; the one that made his actual age match his 19 year old body. "Which to me is more fun."
I smiled back. I mean, how could I not? He looked adorable.
We both had undressed completely when Magnus wrenched me into another breath-taking, simple kiss.
"Oh that reminds me that I need to-"
"Let it go, Magnus," I sighed as I stepped into the large tiled shower. The sigh retreated and quickly turned into a gasp.
The water was freezing.

Malec - You're adorable
"I said NO!" snapped Alec.
The other man, who was dressed up in his usual dramatic assortment of rainbow/extreme colored clothes and spiked hair tipped with color, pouted. "But whyyyy?" whined the older man.
"You know why, Magnus." grumbled Alec, glancing around to make sure no one was paying close attention to their argument as they walked back to Magnus's apartment.
"But we're DATING! That's what couples D--" He looked at the dark-haired teenager in surprised when he hissed at him, then grinned widely at the adorable blush spreading across the younger male's face. "Aww, Alec, honey, are you embarrassed..," the glittery m

"Magnus?"
"Hmm?"
Alec leaned his head farther back into Magnus' shoulder, playing idly with the warlock's fingers that were splayed across his stomach. They were lying on the couch, the color of which Magnus had changed to an inky blue since Alec loathed pink.
Magnus was half-propped up against the armrest with Alec lying between his legs, the Shadowhunter's head and shoulders on Magnus' broad chest. His heartbeat, markedly slower than a human's, thudded gently beneath Alec's ear.
"Where is your accent from?"
Magnus paused for long enough that Alec craned his neck to look up at him. Magnus wore a bemused expression, his eyes twinkling.
